temp gauge aftermarket problem s2 1969
« on: Tuesday,August 24, 2021, 04:42:16 AM »
Folks,  all my gauges were toast after sitting in the sun and damp,   bought a set from China, looks same, even with the "smiths" logo,  but temp and oil pressure read too high,
could I put some sort of resistor to bring them down or do I try lots of 'senders' to find which one will work,  oil pressure with original reads 50 lbs, with new unit reads 100lbs,
thanks   Mike.

Have you checked the voltage out of the voltage stabilizer? It should be 10v.
