Everything you need to know about Lotus
« on: Tuesday,September 28, 2021, 12:27:51 PM »
I saw this a while ago and was reminded of it by the lotuseuropa groups.io list. It's a pretty good history of Lotus (given it's only 20 minutes long!).

If you're looking to be entertained and possibly informed for 20 minutes, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3EfNfE8pCU

Not easy to list everything of note in 20 mins.

A few howlers such as talking about the Renault engined Europa with a view of the big valve TC engine on Dellorto carbs.

That was hard to watch but, I give him credit for the effort...a little less on trying to make it funny and more factual content would be better.

What a berk! I have up after repeated yellings  of Lowdiss.

Then there's 'sodering' . . as in sodering an electrical connection.
I don't know why . .

British English pronounces the L in solder, as in sold. Americans say sodder. It's another difference between the same language!

Americans pronounce 'soldier' the same way as anyone else.

 :I-agree:

Gawd, that guy is irritating! Despite massive evidence to the contrary, not all of us Americans are like that guy... really.
