Some thoughts about motor oil
« on: Thursday,December 17, 2015, 11:50:57 PM »
I got the following link from a friend which covers the topic of motor oil from several aspects. Nicely written and if you have some gaps regarding oil it is an interesting read.

wow, that's a long post, but a very detailed one. I made it half way before deciding it needed to be in dead-tree format otherwise I was going to lose it.

I've got to say, that's the most comprehensive thing I've seen in one place on the internet. As always, DYOR but it looks a excellent starter from comparing the bits I know on the subject.

Thanks for posting.

Lots of reading there. It seems like the guy is quite knowledgable on the subject. I decided to kill a tree also so I could take it home and digest it in the garage in slow time. Cheers.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
