Is that a direct bolt-up swap for a Fed TCS? And if so, what is the part number?

It's as closest to a direct bolt up for an alternate M/C than any other. You have to make up jumpers to connect the stock lines to the opposite side of the Spitfire M/C. Unlike the S2, the brake lines from the M/C is continuous to the rear of the PDWV so it's more complicated to re-run new lines. Just make sure you get the small cap Spitfire M/C which has the 0.70" bore. All British car parts suppliers should have them in stock.

Thanks Joji! Looks very doable. IIRC the stock MC is .85 inch bore. (?) So with a .70 bore I could expect a 32% reduction in pedal force and a corresponding 32% increase in pedal travel. That would be a welcome change to my boosterless TCS.

If the boosters have failed on your TCS, you know what terror is when attempting to brake hard for an unexpected stop. A smaller bore M/C makes a huge difference in braking. I had the Nissan F10 M/C installed by the PO on my TCS (now sold)and it was outstanding in braking feel and stopping power. The Spitfire M/C should be similar with slightly longer pedal travel, also:

Another bridge crossed. Sunday I took my Eupora out for a test drive after rebuilding to rear suspension installing all new brakes new Spax shocks a .70 brake master and new lines to remove booster.

Thanks JB , the reason is there is a s2 girling tandem brake cylinder for sale on eBay, however somewhat pricy....I read other articles on other mc that have been installed but just want to consider other options.

The original cylinder will have the outlets facing the right way and simply bolt up to the lines you already have. The outlets on this cylinder face the other way so you will have to make up extensions, or new lines to suit. All the fittings, metric and imperial, are readily available from British parts suppliers.

That small cap Spitfire M/C is the one I used for my article. The outlet ports are metric threads. For the S2, it's simple enough to make up two new lines to run from the M/C to the three way unions. .

I think it will work will on any Europa you will have to make some new lines.
I have a good pedal and the brakes work very good.
I would like to have tires with more grip as my new Kumho TA11 leave something more to desired ?
