spun bobbin in the passenger door with the fix
« on: Monday,August 23, 2021, 08:23:26 PM »
door had a 2 inch sag, the lower bobbin was spun in the fiberglass, what a mess I came up with this fix ,  machined a new lower bushing, and screwed it to the sill, now I will fiberglass the bottom , new stainless pins , some times you need to think outside the box, being a machinist and a millright, with the tools at home sure helps

Nice solution. I can't see what the screws are threaded into to secure the new piece, just the fiberglass?

the bolts are drilled thru the fiberglass then there are washes and nuts on the bottom side , then it is all fiberglassed in place
