In tank fuel pump
« on: Friday,March 01, 2019, 01:14:57 PM »
I set my car up with a Facet Gold pump feeding a surge tank with a Bosch pump. It was way too loud so I decided to go the intank route. I used a Walbro HP pump for a 98' Mustang. There are cheaper Mustang pumps if the flow is not needed. I bought a new Mustang tank on Ebay ($80) to get the flange and basket. The float arm needed some light bending but it clears. I don't have the tank in yet to know how much quieter it is yet. I don't know what others have done with efi engines but this went pretty easy. I spent hours looking at tanks and intank pumps. This one seemed the easiest to make work.
