Stromberg GM Throtle Body Injection
« on: Monday,June 22, 2015, 08:01:32 PM »
I was at our local British Field Day yesterday and found this intriguing, TBI fitted into Strombergs with the addition of spacer plates. Most non-machined parts are GM and thus easily serviced. These pics are of the Triumph I saw.

Not sure where to post this. Not sure if this a known/common conversion but I've not seen it before.
No affiliation and all that.... Here's the web page with more information - http://pattonmachine.com/TBI-Main.htm

I like the relative simplicity and stock look of it. It's bit pricey though. My carbs are preforming well and I'm not thinking of converting, just thought it was kind of cool.

Strombergs are more than a bit of an air flow restriction so converting them to throttle body is a bit of a waste.  Fit a set of Mikunis.  Those flow air!
