Not for me this year, as I am going to use my Lotus kitty to convert my Zetec from Webers to ITB fuel injection, but every year the subject of AC comes up as we approach summer, and I am going to be first to throw this new option on the table.

Looks like one just needs to generate 30 amps, squeeze in a condensor and evaporator and remote mount the compressor. It is not cheap and resembles the compressor running our refrigerator, but putting it in the forward spare tire area, removes the need to plumb anything into the engine compartment...
Hmm.

That does look interesting! Being electric is a huge plus because there isn't a good, simple way of driving a compressor from my engine. Some thought would have to go into where and how to mount your condenser so that it doesn't bleed too much air from your radiator. If you do it, be sure to let us know how you did it and how well it works.

I don't think it would be that powerful but, given the size of the Europa's cockpit, it wouldn't have to be. Wish this was available a year ago. 14v electric ac compressors at that time were specifically said not to be up to snuff.
BTW, you would need considerably more than 25 amps in reserve as there are also the condenser and blower fans to power.
