Yep, I'd say that qualifies as a barn find !

An amazing transformation, is that the current status or is it closer to the road now ?  It looks a neat, if tight installation but the exhaust header pipes are a work of art, that clearly took some class pipe bending & welding.

The header is a common Zetec one manufactured by several companies. I bought mine used, from a Ford focus guy for less the $150.00. While I would like to take credit for the header it simply is available at very reasonable prices. Another reason why I replaced the the aging Twin Cam with a Zetec.

I didn't realise the header was a standard item, but then again I'm not sure I've ever looked in detail at a zetec engine even though I know it's a very popular one for swops.  That header is very impressive though, standard fare or not. Whenever I see fabricated items I tend to think "how would I do that ?" and looking at the welding and the access to get at the insides of those bends, it's all very tight and very neatly made.

I do indeed like the Audi green.  Any more shots of a  product, finished or not?  Yes, I am nosy.
