Title: Europa at Sebring '76
Post by: 2766R on Tuesday,March 15, 2016, 05:08:11 AM
I found this quite by accident.  Only a couple of Europa pics, but a plethora of sports racing car photos including other Lotus types.  Enjoy, if you have some time to kill.

A good find, clearly the Europa driver had decided everyone else was going the wrong way  :)

Some sobering crashes though, considering the shots would be taken well before the days of motor-drive or digital cameras, there's either fast reactions or brilliant luck to get some of those floating-through-the-air shots. I wouldn't have liked to have been in that convertible that went over, it looked bad and you can see why a roll cage is a good idea.
