Welcome to the forum. That is a beautiful Europa. I don't bvelieve that I've seen that colour on a Europa before, but it looks fantastic. Is it a factory colour? Cool nick name, too.

Thank you. To my knowledge it is a factory colour, the ID plate says it is L19. In the Yahoo group was at least one other in that colour.
The colour of your car seems similar, but a bit lighter.
Yeah, mine is a bit more of a golden brown. I think the colour is called tawny. I was considering changing the colour to a moss green, but Mike (cal44) wont let me ;). Actually, the more time I spend with the car the more I think the colour suits it. I always liked the colour, but it didn't seem very 'sporty'. It does, however, look very 70s. Anyway, when it comes time to repaint, it will likely be the same colour. It's currently still wearing its original factory paint.

I know that feeling.  In the pictures of the ad for my Europa it looked black. Imagine my suprise as I saw that it was this very special brown. But It is very 70s and I have come to love it.

Brian, Here in Pennsylvania the Historic licence plates have a embossed picture of an old Model T on them. I  dont't like them very much and had some various other tags made. I will use the state plate, but it will be portable and not affixed, behind the drivers headrest using the rear window for identification. The Troopers will probably stop me at some point, but I think they will want to see the car and not issue a summons. My Marine ID, Viet Nam Vet card usually gets me a free pass.
A picture of the noise maker for you...ld
Rather than an embossed picture, Utah vintage vehicle plates have a sticker that is applied at the DMV.  This sticker is easy to remove directly after it is applied.... And easy enough to replace with a better looking, more appropriate sticker.  I too wonder what a Trooper will think of this improvement.

Mark, The plate works for me, I like the small stencil of the twink  & "uropa" has a  eye-catching visual to it. ld

:Welcome: Your Europa is beautiful. I really like the wheels, too. Are they Revolution four spokes?

First competition event in the S2, shakedown at Rob Roy Hillclimb near Melbourne.
No rude shocks although the ventilation fan and the starter both gave up the ghost.
Car is faster than me but not as quick as the Renault Alpine running same class on the day.

Very exciting stuff. Competition in a Europa would be a blast. I wish hill climb type events were available around here as I would like to give this a try myself.

Yes very exciting stuff!!  The video looking out the windshield is great.

I celebrate the day my starter died.  The new gear reduction starter works so much better!
