gear linkage

has anyone seen gear linkage like this  its on a twincam its the bit painted red im talking about

That's the linkage on the 336 gearbox; was only used on the early TC. The swivel joint in the middle wasn't standard. Must have been added by a PO. The red thing at the back of the gearbox is the linkage to the speedometer cable.

The swivel joint in the middle wasn't standard   
  thats what i wanted to know as i was having a lot of trouble ajusting it and never got it to work proper i have since made a diffrent link
