'72 Europa TC found in Nashville, TN. garage find...now what
« on: Tuesday,February 20, 2018, 07:41:17 PM »
I'm new to the group!
Found out about this from a friend of a friend car guy. Same owner for 30 years, throttle cable broke, he parked it, a couple years later became ill and died. My friend bought it from his widow, I bought it from him. Originally Lagoon Blue with tan interior, now Black. Needs to be restored. It's all there. Checked fluids, pulled plugs, rotated engine, added fuel and battery, started right up, quiet and no smoke.  I have a box of parts that goes with the car including a new throttle cable. Will sell for a fair price. Happy to answer questions, probably have some of my own. Cheers, Chris

 :Welcome: kern911

And then I guess soon we'll be sad to see you go! I hope you get a good price on the car. It would help if you post pictures. If you're looking for places to sell it besides here, you might try bringatrailer.com, hemmings.com, and, of course, ebay.com.

Good luck!

I tried to post pics, even only one, but it said the file was too big.

There is a size limit on the forum for attachments.  Joe has published a guide to re-sizing as a sticky, it's here;

If the image is too big then anyone using a small screen or lower resolution ends up scrolling to see the photo and you lose perspective on what you're seeing. I usually keep them between 800-1024 pixels wide which should suit anyone with a laptop, desktop or larger tablet.

Sounds like someone's going to get a good project, best of luck with the sale.

Look at the post just below yours, you may already have a buyer.

Pics are available on Lotus Europa FaceBook page. I would jump on this one if I didn't already have one.

The method I use (I use Windows 10) and is not on of the methods at the link. I display the picture and use th "snipping tool" (this allows you to save a portion on the screen to a graphics file) to save the image of the picture to a file. The file you save can then be attached to a post on this forum.
