« on: Monday,June 30, 2014, 12:35:55 PM »
Hi there,

there is a new Facebook page about our racing team. I would be glad, if you'd like it.
Tell me what you think about it.

Kind regards

Stefan

EDIT: please forget about the sponsor site, we used to have for a few months. They just tricked us. Now we have made our own whole new website including facebook, twitter, youtube. You can see it below. I hope you like it.

Hi guys,

after being betrayed by our last year's so called sponsor, we have made our own whole new website. Our name is YART, which stands for Yellow Arrow Racing Team.

We are now on twitter, facebook and youtube, as well. I would be glad, if you'd like our page.

yart-racing.com
facebook.com/yart.racing
twitter.com/YART_Racing
youtube.com -> Yellow Arrow Racing Team

It is not only focussed on Lotus Europa anymore, but the Europa is still an important part of our team. The only real difference is that we expanded the range of cars.

Best regards

Stefan

Hey Stefan,

It looks like you have some nice cars for next year!

i saw where that 911 punted you in the corner! It looks like the Europa fared pretty well - much better than I feared!

Good luck racing next year!

I punted him, it was my mistake. The Porsche driver was completely surprised by my idiocy. But where did you see it?

I saw it on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=534eOcvobEU&list=TLN0z_jdb3L-w

It looked to me like he was trying to come up on the inside going into the turn but you were still ahead of him so you should have had the line. Sort of like what Senna did to Prost and won the championship (though learning more about what had happened to Senna before, I'm fairly sympathetic to Senna on that).

Oh, that video is from 2012. My dad was driving and the Porsche chose the wrong side to overtake. The Porsche's rear suspension broke and the Lotus was fine.

My accident happened in October 2014 and was much heavier.

That 911 looks like an SUV compared to the Lotus.  Be careful out there.

Everything is fine. The impact was not that hard. It was more like leaning against the Porsche, but the plastic body and the little wishbones can't cope with that. The braking problem, which was a minor reason for this crash (the main reason was my mistake), is solved. Also the front suspension is already ready to race again. The only thing left to do is the bodywork, which does not look that good now, but we will get this done over the winter.
