gasoline filler neck grommets
« on: Tuesday,September 26, 2017, 12:03:02 PM »
Hi All,

I'm restoring a sorely abused '72 Eurupa TC and am trying to find a source for the black rubber grommets around the 2 gas filler necks.
Can anyone help?  The OD of the filler neck is 2.6 inches or 66mm, if that helps.

Given what a "parts-bin" car the Europa is, I'm sure the grommets are from another British car...but folks at MOSS, et.al. only understand part numbers and not dimensions.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Terry

 :Welcome:  royaledriver!

You should be able to find them at one (or all) of the usual suspects: Dave Bean ((209) 754-5802, their website is not up to date), r.d. enterprises (rdent.com), JAE (http://www.jaeparts.com/), Banks (http://www.banks-europa.co.uk/index.php). The first three are more US companies so they would be the handiest to you but you should acquaint yourself with Richard at Banks as he has a lot of great stuff - in fact some of the stuff the the US companies sell comes from Banks.
