Thx

So you want something to cover your mats (I think all carpet kits would include mats)? Something like coco mats? Or weather tech? Automat in New York (https://www.autointeriors.biz) makes nice carpet kits and can surely make a mat to cover your existing mats. https://www.cocomats.com, as the name suggests makes coco and sisal mats. I just checked Weathertech.com and they don't list mats for Europas but you might give them a call.

Does that help?

Hi all,

I have coco mats in my Healey 3000, and they are very nice but also very heavy (defeats the Lotus Lightness Initiative).  Its the rubber backing they install on them.

The weather tech ones I also have in my Truck and the wife's VW beetle, and are very light and form fitting.  Very nice, but they probably don't make one for the Lotus.

Also, I for one would like ones that have the Lotus Logo on them if possible....still haven't found any.....Mayhap someone makes custom ones that can get the logo stitched onto them? though copyright laws are a bitch.

Hopefully someone will pipe up with a nice looking set and where to purchase?  Jerry Rude 4005R

I got my carpet kit from AutoMat (see my previous post). They can embroider the Lotus logo in the mats. Look on the second page of Main Gallery of the Gallery for a picture of my mat with the logo.

Interesting. The coco mats I have aren't backed, but they're 40 years old.

The coco mats from cocomat.com are backed with rubber with nibs that keep the mats from moving around.
