Hi all,
Last time I drove my Europa, the brake pedal was a bit spongy.
Today I decided to breek the brakes.
However, when I lifted the front end of the car, it looked like the master cylinder was leaking a little. I think a rebuild may be in order.
But...
To find the correct rebuild kit, I need to know which master cylinder is installed. I don't think it's original, but I've seen 'girling' on the bottom of the reservoir.
I could make a fuzzy picture of (part of) the casting number and the plastic tag. Does anyone have a cross reference table?

Before trying to order a kit, take it apart and check the condition of the bore.

The S2 and TC have different Girling MCs installed, which Europa do you have. Also I'm assuming the leak is from the rear of the MC?
Edit:Just noticed that you're located on the other side and probably don't have a federal Europa, so never mind.

Other side of the pond, but it is a Federal S2 alright :)
May be a stock S2 MC after all (reservoir is same as in your photo), although I don't have the extra 'thingy' on top of the reservoir.

That aluminum canister is the SOVY, low fluid level warning level switch. The federal S2 master cylinder has the 0.70" cylinder bore.
