Upper rad hose size

HI:One more time to the well of knowledge!!
What is the size and length of the upper rad hose shown in the attached diag?I have to go parts in hand as its in storage at a farm.If it was here these questions would have an obvious answer.I used a flex on the outlet side at the engine to the swirl pot back in the day and it worked fine.I was thinking about a flex as a replacement for the hose in question.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Dayco 70932.  Same hose top and bottom.

You can also get silicone hose sets for S2s on eBay.
