Here's a couple of pics of my '74 Twin Cam

It's a very nice low milage, unmolested, mostly original example still wearing it's original paint. When I bought it two years ago, it had accumulated a mere 30,500 miles in 36 years. Two years later it has almost 37,000 miles and with any luck it'll hit 40,000 before this year's winter hibernation.

Nice unmolested car. You even have the original stock broom stick handle to hold the lid open.

Hahaha. Yeah, but I'm thinking of upgrading to the lighter weight, high performance bamboo prop stick.

Nice!  And I use the same broom handle on my S2 when I don't have the trunk in.  I wonder if we could market one with Lotus badges on it as the "Official Lotus OEM" tool for propping up the hood.

Mr. Bainford,

love the car..........love the stream behind the car.  I don't know whether to admire the car more or break out my fly fishing equipment.  Reeeel purrrty country.

Hi Trevor,

Now that is one very nice car.   And that workshop - it's far tooooo clean to be a Lotus workshop !!

(although I do note you have a couple of trays underneath the transmission  ;) )

Cheers guys  :beerchug:
Mike, plenty of great streams in this area. If you ever make it to Nova Scotia, be sure to bring that fly gear.
Brian, I can assure you that the shop isn't always that clean. I'm part way through a garage renovation so parts of it are looking pretty tidy at the moment. Good catch on the drip pans  ;)
