Title: Clutch Fork pin removal
Post by: nigelc on Saturday,November 18, 2017, 01:37:02 PM
Hi all .. is there a technique to removing the two pins that hold the clutch release bearing fork from the arm ? . I need to remove them in order to turn the actuating arm around . i am fitting a NG3 but unfortunately the 5 speed bell housing that Richard got for came from a Renault and the clutch cable arm is in the wrong orientation for the lotus .  Should they just ( with huge brute force ) pull out, or will it be easier to just drill them ?  Thanks

Drill holes in the bell housing opposite the pins and drive them out.

Here's the Renault special tool.
I've not used one but reckon an enterprising young lad could fabracoble something together.
