New member introduction

I seem to smitten by Europas lately and find myself here even though I don't own one.
My specialty is building road race cars and lightweight mid-engine chassis from scratch. I'm a machinist by trade and live in Georgia USA.

This started because I thought a Europa would be a nice project since there are neglected ones out there and I wouldn't feel guilty molesting something that's probably going to rot away otherwise, with nobody willing to step up to a restoration.

So here I am looking for a cheap project but now I'm starting to admire these cars more and the owners who care for them.

Welcome Barbapapa.  Glad to see another southerner on this site.  Depending on where in Georgia you're at, I'm either north or east of you, in southern SC.

Hopefully, I'll run into you after my project is completed and I can get it to some SE car shows.
Yes, it's work...   No, I don't mind it.
