Hi all, looking for a wheel I can use as a spare for my car.

Can be steel or any alloy that fits, I don't really mind.
I'm in UK, South East.

Thanks, Raf.

Just a suggestion but how about a can of tire sealant or a tire repair kit and a 12 volt compressor?

I have a steel wheel somewhere.

I should be in your area soon for work.

Cheers,

Alex.

I'll get a repair kit in the meantime but would prefer a spare, may hit a kerb or pothole and take a chunk out
of a tyre, unlikely but....

Hi Alex, that's great, thanks!

Reminds me that I must get on and copy the gearbox bracket...

I'm using a little 3.5" wide 13" early Spitfire rim as my spare, much easier to get in and out and provides some extra storage space on top for a jack and whatnot.
They're worth all of maybe $10 each around here.

I like the Spitfire rim idea. My alloy rimed spare is difficult to maneuver out of the boot.

That brings up a question, if you got the optional alloy wheels on the TC/TCS, was the spare also alloy. (I bought my alloy spare from someone on this forum specifically as a spare. My original spare was missing.)

My spare is an alloy.
The more I do the more I find I need to do....

The TC and TCS optional rims had the spare which is really difficult to get in and out. I like the idea of the spitfire rim
